The natural outcome of love is to conceive, experience the intimacy of pregnancy, and deliver a normal healthy baby. Sadly for many couples this is an elusive dream.

Nowadays couples experiencing problems often move quickly into IVF programs. The programs are expensive, intrusive, invasive and very often unsuccessful. Babies born in IVF programs are often premature or small for dates and have much higher rates of birth defects.

What is our solution?

Natural Fertility Counselling

1. Is a counselling program that discovers the causes of reproductive problems and empowers couples to overcome their own particular problems.
2. To start, couples answer the NFS Questionnaire.
3. They then have a long consultation (1 to 1.5 hours) with Dr. Ford. This either occurs in person or by telephone*. The results of the Questionnaire are used to guide the consultation but Couples are encouraged to raise their own questions and issues.
   (*The costs of the Counselling telephone calls are not included if outside Australia.
      Dr. Ford is willing to consult in most capital cities.).
4. Couples then receive a list of recommended actions.
5. Ongoing assessment and advice is arranged according to needs.

Parts 1-4 of the Program cost Au $187.oo. Part 5 is costed on an hourly rate of Au $110 per hour (15-30 minutes charged as 1/4 or 1/2) and can be undertaken through email.

Over the last 25 years, Dr. Judy Ford has worked to understand the cellular processes underlying reproductive problems. She has strived to discover the critical changes that occur with ageing and has investigated methods of reducing the various ageing effects.

In the late 1980's Dr. Judy and her team conducted the PALS (Pregnancy & Lifestyle Study). The study was the largest study of its kind ever undertaken in the world. Couples are welcome to enrol themselves in the Program. Doctor's are very welcome to refer their patients and where this happens, we will keep the Doctor informed of programs and progress.
